Los migrantes tras llegar al Puerto de Arinaga en cayuco

Un cayuco con 55 migrantes a bordo, 45 varones y 10 posibles menores, a los que se les realizará la prueba de edad, llegó ayer al Puerto de Arinaga, según informa el Centro Coordinador de Emergencias y Seguridad (Cecoes) 1-1-2, donde fueron atendidos por el personal sanitario del Servicio de Urgencias Canario (SUC), de Cruz Roja y del Consultorio Médico de Arinaga, aunque ninguno de ellos precisó ser trasladado a un centro sanitario.

El Centro de Control de Salvamento Marítimo en Las Palmas, tras recibir el aviso de que se había avistado un cayuco a menos de una milla de la costa, activó una Salvamar, aunque su participación no fue finalmente necesaria ya que la embarcación había tocado tierra por sus propios medios.

En el lugar, donde se activó el protocolo para detectar los posibles casos positivos por Covid-19, también intervinieron agentes de la Guardia Civil, Policía Nacional, Policía Portuaria y Policía Local de Santa Lucía y Agüimes, que colaboraron con todos los recursos de emergencia.
